Default Getting more use from long handle tools.

Since I use Palm Tools most of the time and had 2 tools that I like but hardly ever use because of their length I decided to wrap part of the tool with small rope because it was to small to hold withone hand. This way I can use it as a Palm Tool or Long Handle Tool if I should need it. So far I have used them more than ever. After wrapping I seal the ends with CA glue to prevent it from unwrapping. Works for me.
The other picture is the method I used to wrap the tools. I got it from Susan Irish for wraping walking sticks. Merle

Hey Merle,
I removed the first photo...Susan Irish holds the copyright to that image and it's a violation of her copyright for you to post it here without her permission. It's probably better if you just post a link to the photo where it's posted.

Merle I just saw your post from 4/7/09 on long handle tools here is a photo of what came up with a few weeks ago. It's medical elastic if pulled tight it will not slip and very comfortable.

I had a few fine long-handle tools I simply could not use. I sent them to Rick Ferry and he turned them into great palm tools.

Merle it's an elastic like band that comes in different widths most drug stores sell it. Have a great new years day.

Merle, it looks like to me it is Vetrap or Coban that many folks wrap their thumbs with.
