Default A finger saver

Hey ya'll...when cutting super small pieces and your fingers get to close to the blades, here is a sweet little trick...Use that pencil eraser! It works super well on thin little tiny pieces...! Best of luck! Go carve something!
Oh! Usually I have one finger on the piec...but in this instance it was on the camera

Good idea Keoma. But how do you get your thumb to bend that way? Must be double jointed, maybe triple jointed....I use a "push stick" all the time, but never thought of a pencil with an eraser. Thanks..

Thankx guys!
Tom I think my thumb is bent that way cause I am trying to hold it in my left hand I am a righty! Figured it made more sense to hold the expensive mom in laws camera with the right hand!

I ended up using this all day doing my tiny scrolling parts.

Thumbs up Re: A finger saver

excellent idea and I would guess that the eraser will grip most woods?

That is a great idea. I have scrollsaw fear because I haven't used it a whole lot. This will help.I'm thinking one of those big pencils with big eraser, for paranoid mid aged woman!

How clever is that! I so love simple and smart and you covered both with this one.
If you were to slip at least the eraser would be right handy to rub out that mistake. It will save a fortune on bandaids lol.

Great tip Keoma! Perhaps Bob will pick it up for the magazine tech section!
