Default Dust collector question

I'm contenplating purchasing a desk top dust collector and am currently looking at the DC725 or the Razaire. Both listed in the Woodcraft catalog. There is a hunderd and twenty dollor difference in them. I'm wondering if there is that much difference in their performance to warrent the difference in price. In viewing the shop pictures posted on here I have seen both units used by forom members. I would apprecate any advice or hints to help me with this purchase. Thanks in advance for your help.

I was in you shoes two years ago asking the same questions. I wound up with the DC and very happy with it mostly because of price. I'm sure others will have other coming opinions but if you decide on the DC you wouldn't be sorry. I'm a part time user of it but never found it to be wanting. FYI I attend several carve in's and I see them more than other commercial brands. BTW I did look at several knock offs of that brand and you must read the Specs carefully. CFM and number of motors make difference in prices.

Bob, thanks for the info. I've looked at a lot of different types including numerous homemade ones but have never talked to anyone reguarding the two that I am now considering.
