Default Don't varnish bare foot

Here is a good tip that might help someone....

Don't go outside, barefoot, to varnish a raccoon carving and end up standing in a fireant hill while varnishing.

After about 20 bites on my foot I can tell you that it is not a good ideaCowboy

Why they all wait until the same time to start biting I will never understand, but boy it sure works if the goal is to intimidate your prey.

Greg

OUCH!! That's one reason why I'll never move south. The critters are much nastier down there. If I head any direction it'll be further NORTH despite what my dear wife says. Hope you recover from your stings soon. I hear they are particularly nasty vermin.

Right now the ant's are taking over our yards in Southeast Texas .. A real problem down here , especially after rain's ...

Never go bare footed much down here with these critters everywhere .. Their hurt you ...

But did you spill the varnish??? LOL I know it isn't funny but I can just see you "dancing" with a paint brush in one hand and the raccoon in the other! I guess we could call it the ant dance....maybe someone will catch the moment in wood.

And shoes don't help very much. I have bites all around my ankles most of the summer.

While we're making "Not-to-do" lists, we should add: don't cook bacon in the nude.

Now don't think for a minute you're goin' to make a statement like that and get away with no story to go with it. And don't tell us it's from a story your Grampa told you.Talking
