Hello and welcome, irs. It's nice to have you here with us. There is so much to learn here and a lot of great people here to help you.

I would suggest you do a google search on "How to make a didgeridoo". There are also youtube videos the show how idgeridoos are bored out. I used a drill bit on a extension rod and drilled out an agave stalk, but that is very soft.

May I ask what you're planning on doing with it and what diameter hole?

My experience with DW is that it is not very straight and the diamonds may go quite deep. Drilling a 60 length of it will be a challenge. I can't offer any suggestions, but I hope you have lots of luck!

There is another posibility. Split the wood leignthwise and rout out a groove in the center. It should work although it will leave a glue line.
