Susan, you're going to make me nuts! A weekend quicky? I'd still be looking for the graphite paper. Great work and thanks for sharing. Mike

Hey Mike! Hey Deborah! Thank you both.

Mike, I miss read your post at first and thought you were having problems finding the paper ... I re-read and realized what you were really saying. But as I had already slipped over to one of my favorite art online stores I'll go ahead and post what I found.

Jerry's Artarama
http://www.jerrysartarama.com/

Jerry's has a whole section of print making supplies.

Under "Paper" click "Print Making Paper"
I love stonehenge as it is great for print making and for colored pencil work plus it comes in a variety of natural tones.

Japanese papers are great for the texture that is included in the dipping process. Also look at rice paper for
both rubbing and printing.

Under "Paper" click "Rolls of Paper"
That's where you will find the vellums which are a rag content semi-translucent paper. Vellums have a tooth that grabs the graphite.

You'll find graphite drawing pencils under "Drawing". The colored pencils are there also. I prefer artist grade colored
pencils because they have a nice wax content ... they blend wonderfully.

As for carbon paper you can still get that through most office supply stores or make your own by rubbing the back of your pattern paper with a soft pencil.

Susan
