When all else fails or it still vibrates a little, sit it on an 18 inch square of 4 inch thick foam rubber. It may still vibrate some, but it won't walk away from you while using...

Look at the front of wheel, where the tool rest is and see if the wheel is runing true. when u dress the wheel u have to hold the dresser ridged so it makes the wheel perfectly true. U stand a better chace of getting wheel trued up up with the dimound dreser as opposed to the wheel dresser. You can't do a good grinding job if the wheels are not runing true. Also it is easy to get a wheel out of round if ur not careful when u are sharpening something.

Thanks Carl, The diamond tool did a good job of removing most of the vibe, screwing the base to the bench eliminated the rest.

Sometimes there can be a little play on the shaft when mounting the wheel. Loosening and retighting can help. Just be carefull if you ever have lots of vibe. I once had lots of vib on my big floor stand grinder. One day when I turner it on, right when it hit top speed, the wheel expolded into pieces. Some hit me without causing any damage, but sure was scarey trying to shut off the &%*& thing with it bouncing all over. It is now bolted to the floor.
