Default Bear r.i.p.

I carved this bear holding an American flag like 4 years ago for a friend. I told her to keep it from direct contact with the ground and spray it with termite dust twice a year. We have some wicked tropical termites in my area. She called me Saturday ask if I could look at her bear, I did and gave him the sign of the cross then pronounced him dead. This was a quick carve cartoonish style bear out of green wet red oak no finish just torch burned. Same neighborhood I carved a lawn jockey more than 10 years ago and it is just fine on concrete and bug sprayed twice a year.
