| Re: Adding wood for a nose Thanks everyone for the info. I glued with Elmer's Wood Glue last night and started carving this morning. Everything is going okay.....so far!. But why wasn't I smart enough to at least shape that block of wood before I glued it on. Took me forever to carve off the extra...Duh????????????  Joy |

| Re: Adding wood for a nose Ahh the joys of learning Joy!!! Gluing on is allowed, as is just about anything else! Best advice I can offer, is : Forget about "rules" and carve for the joy of it. Carve often, carve well, sharpen well and have fun!!!!! Bob
