Default Your Booth

Hello! I am always changing my set up at fests and fairs. Mostly because my stuff always changes, but I am hoping for a really great set up for Christmas. I would love to see you set up at fairs. Can you post a picture of your display? I would love to see everyones, we're all so unique. This is me at Christmas last year. Phenominal Cosmic crafts, itty bitty showing space. Ok! I'm gettin' my coffee...show me show me show me!

Wow Keoma - nice set up!! LOL - spits tea on laptop. Hah - love the genie reference. That was one of my favorite lines from Aladin.

No set up of my own to show - I guess I have to carve some stuff to sell first. But one day I hope to, so I am really looking forward to this thread. Great idea.

Here's my set up at a country fair last year.......the space is 12'x12' but I only use 8'of depth.

These panels are 30 years old......they really need a paint job......soon as I get a chance.

Keoma,

Well, after a hard drive crash, all my photos are some where else. However, they are not on a backup disk. I had some photos of my latest booth.

In the absense of the photo, here's the most valuable tip that was ever given to me. I use this tip as much as possible.

When offering wood carvings for sale, try to present them in a setting the same as or similar to how they might be displayed in the potential buyers home or business. My booth (10 x 10) always has a stepback hutch type cabinet like one that may be in a dining room. The step back has shelves for the displayed carvings, and storage in its base. I use country like farm tables, and small shelves as needed. It seems to work.

The only down side is I usually end up selling the stepback hutch and farm table.

Tip of the day - Back Up Your Files....NOW!
