Default Ya got to love them

Was talking to my daughter today and she said she was going to rearange my Grand D's room and change the decor. The little GDaughter was telling her Mother about all she wanted in her room. Which wasn't all that much for an 8 year old girl. However, My daughter said," well Sarah, where are we going to get these things you want on the wall"? Well, Leave it to my number one G Daughter with a wise crack answer, she gets it from her GMother(my little bride). Sarah says, ' Well duh, I have a Papa who carves". Ya got to love them.

Well, after school today, here come the Daughter, GDaughter and Gson over and my number One GDaught, batted her prettiful(long story) eyes at her PAPA and said, ' PAPA, if you love me as much as you say you do, would you carves me 4 lipssticks about thois big, about 6 inches, and could you carve me 4 purses about this big, about 10 inch by 8 inches, and could you carve me 4 high heel shoes about this big, six to 8 inche.
Now where in the heck did she come up with,' If you love me as much as you say you do". Well I never!!!!!!!
HEHEHEHEHE Ya got to love them for sure.
Well the Caricature Project II was put up and out in to the shop I go, Well the first of four lip stick is carved, the other three are layed out on wood, Checked if I have enough wood for purses and High heels. that is already cut down from mmy blocks of wood. I am about to cut the little bride's purse in half because she is laugh her head off at me. That would be 2 of the four half purses. High heels,,,, hmmm, do ladies still wear those things.
Anyways, I do love that little girl and yes, as much as I say I do.

Reminderto self, "Watch what you say around little children".

Rick will understand!.

Well done Grandpa! She'll love every piece and tell her children about them in years to come!!! Keep up the good work, certainly you are getting as much out of them as she is.....they are truly a "labour of love".

Okay Kenny,
How is Rick supposed to understand?

I am not wrapped around my Granddaughter's little finger like you are; at least not as tightly as you are.

Girls learn very young how the game works. The last time I saw my granddaughter, she gave me a big hug and whispered in my ear "You are my favorite Grandpa". (Her other Grandpa lives at her house.)

I asked if she had good luck with that line in the past.
She just gave me a big smile, like she had no idea what I was talking about.

Speaking of quotes from the younguns, We had a very obscene phone call last week that unfortunatly my 8 years old daughter, Oriana, answered the phone for. I heard her say "what, who is this.....excuse me.....what...."
I asked her who was on the phone, she said it was a man swearing and yelling at her. Now I would quote what was said, but it was the big words that no one should be saying, C word, FU, stupid B word. I let the boys at work know and opened a report file. The call was blocked on my end so I did'nt know who it was or where it came from. My corporal,Eugene, thought this matter should be pursued so he had the call traced and found out who it was and where it came from. Both me and Oriana went into the station to give statements, and when Eugene asked Oriana to repeat what was said to her on the phone , she refused to repeat it, when Eugene assured her that it was ok to repeat this, this time, she looked at him right in the eyes with a serious face and said, I won't swear......I am a christian you know".......from the mouths of babes.

This phone call came after a man my wife worked with got fired for being very abusive and harrassing, both sexually and emotionally.

No kids myself but I have a niece who has me wrapped around her little finger so tight its hard to breath.

One fall while I was visiting they asked me to babysit while my brother and sis-in-law went out. Big mistake.

We had a party, ate bad food, stayed up late, and this was a school night. We had a blast. Her parents were not so empressed with my style of being "in charge" and now don't bother to ask me to baby sit anymore.

Till this day she still ask when uncle Johnny is coming to visit. I think she has plans.
