Kenny,
You're not alone - I just wrote a thread like this a couple weeks ago and everyone told me the same thing they're saying to you - take a break! Even though all your stuff is over, you need to reenergize. Sounds like you had a hectic time and maybe carving just feels like "one more thing to do".

I'll bet if you start doing other things you find relaxing, you'll soon start looking forward to carving again.

Is that anything like the starving orphans that would be happy with the veggies I didn't want to eat as a child?

The Elders of my village say you eat when you are hungry, sleep when you are tired. It is much the same with the creative urge. If you hit a spell of "can't get going", your body or mind is telling you something.

Stop carving, don't even look for new ideas, just STOP!!!! In a day or three, whatever was trying to get your attentiuon will either have wandered off and got lost, or you'll sudenly have a brilliant new thought, such as sending everybody on this forum $20.

That's the reason all those chads wouldn't turn loose of the voting ballots in FL. They should have used ballots that were frozen so they would have been more brittle and would have broken loose. (Thank God they didn't. Don't think I could have taken that bleeding heart sitting in the big office. Guess I better shut up before I offend someone, if I haven't already. Sorry if I did.)

Most of you guys are not as lucky as us californian's, When I go to a resturant or wal mart and go to the rest room to wash my hands. after I wash them they have a little deal a bob that you push a button , place your hands under these little tubes , and you dry your hands and can hear a 1 min speach by al gore at the same time. (hot air ) lol
