Mark, I am real sorry to about the loss of your father. I lost my Mom, two years ago this May 23rd. There has'nt been a day since, that has passed, that I dont think of her, and when I do,it always makes me happy. Her spirit lives on in my heart, just like I know it always will. I am sure your Dad's spirit will live on in your's too.

Mark... I thought about your post today. Memorial Day is coming up and since I'm heading out of town this week I needed to stop by and say hello to my old man down at the VA Cemetary. I say that I "said hello" because it seems to help to just share some of the things that have been going on in my life and to say out loud how much I love and miss him. Anyone passing by probably thinks that I'm one of VA patients who is AWOL from the psych ward but it doesn't matter. It brings comfort to me. In the begining it hurt like hell to visit his grave site but as the year's go on there is less hurt and more pleasant memories of my time with him. Hopefully your time of sorrow will be short and your time of happy memories long! Best wishes!

I'm sorry to hear about your loss also Mark, I lost my father to cancer about 14 years ago. I know you'll never forget him, because I will always remember my dad , there is nothing better in life than to have had loving parents.

My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family
Mel
