Default Re: woodcarving Exhibit

Hello Woodcarvers,
The opening reception was nice. Not as many as we feared after the story hit the local paper. The people who came were really fascinated by the work. My daughter-in-law insisted that I include one of my wooden kayaks, so we had this 14 ft. "eye-catcher" in the middle of the room. It IS a wooden work of art. I also had some whittling I had done as a Scoutmaster 30 to 40 years ago. We had wine & cheese & veggies & dips. My granddaughters took some photos which I'll get onto my computer in the next day or two, and I share them with you.
