Default Wolf charm requests, why.

Hi folks,

Well I guess it's just not my thing, but a lady who was looking for hand carved wolf charms told me what the deal is. It seems that there is a movie and book series out lately, a love story about a teenage girl and a teenage boy who happens to be a vampire! In the story, there is a incident concerning a silver bracelet, and on the bracelet are two items, a gem stone of some kind and a wooden carved howling wolf. All of the teenage girls are nuts over the books and movie, and want the bracelet with the hand carved howling wolf. Kids! I think the Book/movie is called "Twilight".

At least now I understand what the interest is, still too busy to carve wolves, but understand.

Bob

OK, now that makes sense, saw the trailers for it on TV.

Ah, yes. My 14 year-old daughter has read the book to my wife and I at least twice. I sent them on a Mom/Daughter date last night to see the movie. They had a ball, and I had some quiet time.

Yes, "Twilight". One of the artisans in my craftmall makes these bracelets, but the wolf is made of some type of metal. Carved wood would be pretty nifty!

I am so glad to get the answer to the reason for this fascination. Since I have very little contact with teenagers I didn't have a clue. Thanks, now I know I'm not being left out!

Yeap Bob,you are so right, its "Twilight" I have emails from Ca. to the East coast and Canada wanting the wood ones Im carving. I can only carved about 3 a day, course Im working fast as I can. I have small sterling sliver rings where they can attact them to bracelets.Tinny wolves and more wolves. LOL

No two of my wolves are the same, cause I dont have a pattern I use, course I dont use patterns period on any of my carvings. {Someone on board had asked about this} I tell the people that contact me about my carved little wolves that no two are the same. Great!! They love the fact every one is different. Hope they was talking about the wolves than me!! LOL
