Default Re: WhY I have no time

Thanks all,

Goody,
I am going to try and be there this weekend , depending on if your working and if I get something pushed for time.

Eddy ,
this is almost all laser work of one type or another. I was not pleased with the cutout , so we are doing inlays, which really seem to enhance the finished piece. The cougar piece is 36 x 24 inches inlayed with walnut , placed into a 3 inch cedar frame.

The Great bear plaque is limestone. And the laser did the work , with me doing a scrimshaw to highlight the lettering and the picture. The wording is mine.

The Birds and the poem was done for a friend from a picture of a cardnial in the bird feeder outside their window. Using the picture I turned it into a cut pattern and then wrote the poem.

Ron ,
I will have yours done by thursday , and have them on the way to you. And this weekend , I will try and finialize the plans on the glue up.

Bob ,
I Agree but there is one granite piece I did not show which I think you would really enjoy. The battle of the CSS Alabama , It really came out well .

Marci
Thank you. Most of the work is changing , every day now and the designs seem to be coming out of mid air but it is a great challenge. I like the coat of arms it is pretty neat , as it is on a stainless steel laptop computer.

Thanks all , now , I have a bike I am trying to get ready... so back to work for me .

Garry

Wow Garry, and I thought I had been busy! You've been doing a lot of really neat things and been enjoying it a lot, haven't you?! I know that's how it is for me, the more I carve, the more I enjoy it! Thanks for sharing all your great pieces with us, we'll enjoy seeing what else you come up with! Deborah</IMG>
