Default Where's Decoy Carve/Goody?

Has anyone heard from Goody / Decoy Carve? It seems like such a long time since he's posted.
I hope someone can tell us how he's doing.
Thanks.

I think Goody has been around. He is maybe the sly quiet type lately. Sometimes it's better to just prowl around and listen.

You know guys its that time of the year. The Christmas Rush is over and it is sometimes nice to relax and not think about anything. I know how busy he was trying to get his orders complete in time so he is probably taking a well deserved rest. I know that Ash is busy with his new business adventure and I was a little burned out. You guys are not boring its just us we are probably boring at this present time.

Maybe it's because the cold weather has their aches and pains fired up and they don't feel like moving... Does that say anything about me? grin...... Star Wars

For all those wondering about Goody ,

well where should I start.. ok well you all know that he accepted a new job not too long ago. Well that job is taking a lot of time right now. He is working lots of hours. He has been looking for some help , and can't seem to find help that he will not have to train, and he doesn't have the time to do the training.
So that means, more time he has to put in until he can get into a place he can take the time to train. The Second problem is that many of the factories in the area are the same way , they need trained people willing to work ( really work not just ask for the job to put in time). So a bidding war is also going on when he hires someone , they work a couple of weeks and move to a better paying job.

So since christmas and his carvings for orders he has not had a day to call his own since Jan, 6th.

Busy time of the year for factories that have not closed and gone to China or Mexico. Lots of paperwork , new items and new orders at this time of the year. also taxes , reports , W2's inventories, all kinds of additional work given out by the goverment agents so they can figure more ways to take money to give pay increases to goverment employees while we have a declining GNP.

Opps .. sorry I get a bit hot wired at this time of the year.

Ash called me last night and chewed me out for putting in two many hours (like hes not doing the same). There is very little skilled labor to hire in todays workforce. We have been running ads on the internet and local papers at about $500.00 a week in advertising and can't find any help. We have had two applicants in the past two weeks and niether one of them passed the drug test and we are not checking for alcohol. Any way I have been busy automating a couple of our production lines at work. Just designed and built and installed a control panel for a 65 foot long by 12 foot wide oven and rewired the box machine on our production line. I have been working 7 days a week 12-14 hours a day for the past couple of weeks. Went in at 3:00 am this morning and got off early today.

Charolotte, living on 800mg Ibroprofins for the past couple of weeks.

Yep I'm still kickin just not carving much. Going to take a nap and if I don't get called back to the plant I just may go out and carve tonight.
Grumpy I mean Goody

Looks like I'm going to have to come out of retirement! Spent 25 years in industrial automation. PC's, PLC's, motor starters, visual inspection, feeder bowls, pick & place units, temperature controllers etc, etc, etc. Makes me tired thinking about those 12 hour days.
