Default What were/are your favorite

Howdy all,

I've enjoyed the shop music thread a bunch and it got me to thinkin, (my wife says that can be dangerous) did you watch cartoons as a kid, or now, and which ones?

I watched Tom and Jerry nearly everyday afterschool. I still read Garfield daily, as well as one called Crankshaft. I can see influences in my caricature carvings today. Maybe that's why I like mice.

Well sound off if you like,
Doug

Tom and Jerry has been around for a long time. Road Runner, But love to watch the original "Little Racals". The Little Rascals wasn't a cartoon but funny.

Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Tom & Jerry...oh oh...and Precious Pup. His laugh always cracked me up. I still watch them sometimes with my grandkids.

Bugs Bunny, Yosimiti Sam, Tom and Jerry, Garfield, oh and the Rooster and chicken hawk , the sheep dog and the wolf? that punched in/out at the tree every day.. Rocky and Bullwinkle, Underdog, Chipmunks,.... all of those goodies.

Now if I'm surfing channels...Timone and Pumba will get stopped at. Love those two.

I have always drawn cartoons on things , even my homework..and the back of tests if I got done early.. teachers would love seeing the 'artwork'. LOL

Cartoons to read - Calvin and Hobes, Zits, a newer one - Frazz. Not liking most of the new stuff the Chicago Trib is picking up.

Road Runner, Foghorn Leghorn, ....
