Welcome home Ron. Hope you've had enough of the ice driving, the ice is gone from the river here, so you'll have to stick to the roads again. You get any carving done out there? Those big logs sound like a great inspiration, did any arrive at their destination with spirits carved into them??? LOL

Welcome home Ron. I made it south before you did, I've been in Moose Jaw about a month now. No ice roads here, just potholes Don

Welcome back, and glad you made it safely across those ICE ROADS! We've got a few around here in the winter, on Lake Superior, but this year the big lake didn't freeze enough for the roads to be developed. That means the islanders needed to either fly or use the ice boats (kinda like those air powered swamp boats down south, but with a mite more substantial boats!) Every couple years a supply truck or service vehicle seems to go through the ice on the roads...like I said, glad you made it back safely!
