Default We Have a Visitor.

Actually Three Visitors. Anna made a decoration for the front door of our house. Well a Robin decided it was a good place to build a nest and she did. She lets us in and out of the house and just sits in a nearby tree and watches us. But wow does she give the mailman a fit. Dive bombs the heck out of him.

Catbirds are notorious for divebombing those who get close to the nest as well, I've never seen a robin do it.

Great photos,
and an interesting situation...
our mailman delivers at the road in a rual type box.. if it dont fit he leaves a note. come get it at the post office tomorrow!. hes too chicken when the cat birds are nesting to put a package on the porch,

a old one eyed tom-cat in the neiborhood is testament that them catbirds dont wanna be fooled with when setting a nests,

my poor old white momma cat is continually attacked under the wisteria that bird has a white fur lined nest... least to say there buddies too... when the nest is empty..

funny thing if a catbird is caught by a cat, and hollers, all the other birds around come to its aid and attack the culprit... especally them blue jays...
