Default Watch Out For The Trees!!!

As this joke is wood-related in a very small way I thought it safe to post it!

A state trooper was driving along in the country when he noticed a small black coupe swerving all over the lonely back road.

He put on his flashers and pulled the car over. Hopping out of his cruiser, he then approached the lady driver.

"Ma'am, is there a reason that you're weaving all over the road?"

The lady replied, "Oh officer, thank goodness you're here!! I almost had an accident! I looked up and there was a tree right in front of me. I swerved to the left and there was another tree in front of me. I swerved to the right and there was another tree in front of me!"

Reaching through the side window to the rear view mirror, the officer replied, "Ma'am...that's your air freshener."

Lynn, why not a "blonde" lady driver? You're getting too politically correct!

Well, I actually removed the word "blonde" from the joke as I didn't want to offend.

As I am just getting the hang of the forum, Lynn, what I am learning here is that as long as the word "tree" shows up anywhere in my thread I am covered and no one will wipe out my thread in the middle of the night? Or does it have to be funny too? Or .... well, I'll just watch what you long timers do and try to stay in bounds. Great story...

I've found that toes can be very tender around here so you have to be very careful where you walk. Say the wrong thing, offend the wrong people and your comments or posts mysteriously disappear whether their wood related or not.

Yikes, Lynn. That is a treemendous burden for me. Wood you mind if I watch your example? I'll branch out on my own later. I woodn't want to be cut off from the forest. Everyone has treeted me so well.

[Truely am grateful for all the support people who make the forum possible. Also for all the admin folks who have to make the tough calls while I get the fun of being on board. ]
