That porch really does look great and I wish you all the happiness with the new move. I spent a LOT of time working up in the Plateau country near Crossiville during the late '90's and was just about adopted by the Menonite community in that area. Those people are the greatest and I really admire and respect their stong sense of community and family values. |

| | Re: Wanted: Farm!!! Randy48, was over your way this week but had to much going on. Hopefully, the next time, we can meet up. The only free time was eating dinner at El Jimmidors in St Roberts. Not bad! Anyway Spent most of the time helping the St Roberts Honda shop move some of their maint shop out to their new place at Buckhorn. Really nice, state of the art building.
Catch ya later.
Wade, Dang, that looks nice. I was hopeing maybe you would make it to the Ozarks. But it looks like ya got yourself exactly what you wanted. Congratulations. |

| | Re: Wanted: Farm!!! We may make it to the Ozarks yet. This is a beautiful place, but it's an investment. We had until 12/8 to name a property on a 1031 tax deferred exchange or give a bunch of money to Uncle Sam, so we jumped at this. It doesn't have as much land as we were looking for. We got a good deal on it though. Our primary property here in FL hasn't sold. When it does we may buy in the Ozarks, or near this place...both beautiful places!
The cypress knees aren't mine. They're at a roadside stand in S.FL. I included contact info to buy them in an earlier post if you want some.
Thanks for all the nice comments everyone! This place IS nice enough, we may get attached to it and spend the rest of our lives there, who knows! We close on 12/15 and plan on staying a week after that to see how we like it and to tackle some small projects.

| | Re: Wanted: Farm!!! Mark,
Thanks! I'd love the information! We're near I-65 south of Columbia about 25 miles, so it'd be a few hours to drive, but I'd still like to make it over sometime. Maybe someone will know of a closer carving club, too.
Thanks again!
