Dan,Ive never seen a pheasant in person but I enjoy trying to paint them like I do alot of things Ive not seen. Im glad you liked him and thanks for your nice thoughts. Im alot better where my wife is still sick but shes improved. Loaded my old truck to set up tomorrow at my 1st art show this yr. Course,suppose to rain this wk end but it still will be alright.

Forrest, ol' friend.....you continue to astonish me! Those paintings are gorgeous and the bark really sets them off. I never ever get tired of viewing your work.....can't pick a favorite here...and they all say "painted by Forrest"....you have a unique style that is all your own, my friend. Hope you do well in the show and I will certainly be looking for more of your postings! Good luck and hope you both will be well and on your feet by the weekend. Bonnie

Bonnie,Im packing more stuff tonight,course its suppose to rain this wk end at Roan Mtn,least I will get my wk end shower while Im there! LOL
We are feeling alot better and Im sure my wife will be returning to work Monday. As for me,working in this spare bed room,my wife tells me her mothers big cedar bed is in here somewhere?? Im hoping to clean my art room in here and find her moms bed! LOL Alot of honey do's big time for me after this show......but think Id ratter be carving--------I know Id had ratter be carvings!! Hahheeee I'll be into something Im sure of that one way or another thoug! Gald you liked theses bark paintings and I'll be ckn with you soon. Thanks my Northern carving buddy! Forrest

P.S Last year I made so much money,I carpet'd the bathroom,if I do good this wk end at the show,Im going to run some nice red carpet all the way up from the house to the bath room outside!!
