| | Update on Ron Davidson's doctors visit Hi Gang,
I just heard from Ron, he had to go to the doctors today and they took off the bandages. He can see some light but no shadows or movement. The doctor gave him another shot in the retina to stop the bleeding. He said that the eye was still bloodshot but he was hoping that he may get some sight back. Ron is very positive and of course we all hope for the best for him. He had to put the bandages back on and must go another week and see the doctor again. Hopefully the shot will stop the bleeding and the eye will clear up. I dont know if any of you know what happened to Ron? It really wasent an accident. He was about to cross the street when this low life was turning the corner. He threw a cup of hot coffee into Ron's face and yelled obsenities at him. Evidently this happens quite a bit. We talked about that and Ron just says what are you going to do those people exist in this world. Its a shame what people will stoop to and how little regard they have for their fellow man. Only wish I could be your seeing eye dog Ron and body guard. Believe me if I had been with you that day that Son of a b$#%^ would have a different appearance today. Ron you are special to all of us and we will keep you in our prayers and hope for the best next week. For all the members on the message board I will keep you updated on how Ron is coming along. You are a brave man buddy.
Colin
P.S. BTW Ron has a beautiful accent I could listen to him talk all day. |

Ron, I wish you the best results possible.
What kind of accent is Colin talkin' about?

| | Re: Update on Ron Davidson's doctors visit Thanks for the update, Colin. Yeah, it definitely was a low-life stunt that happened too him. But I think there were a few angels--at least one furry--with Ron because the outcome would have been much different had Ron be hit, shot, or whatever your worst imagination can think of. Sorry, folks, I live in Jersey--wedged between NYC and Philly--and I listen to the news too much for my own good.
Ron, I hope your pain and discomfort leave you soon, and you can return to peace and quiet, and spend your time doing things you love like carving. Hang in there..we're hoping and praying for you.
As I say when things are not good..this too shall pass. |

Ditto on Colin's comments. We all wish you a speedy recovery and if there is anything we can do for you all you have to do is ask.... |

| | Re: Update on Ron Davidson's doctors visit I was reading the other day about how blind rats that were given retina cell implants regained their sight...I really believe, Ron, that medical advances will help you--and soon! Until then, you are in my prayers my friend! And it may make me unpopular to say this, but the low life that attacked you is in my prayers as well--I pray that he realizes what he has done and atones for it. It's a long shot, but...

| | Re: Update on Ron Davidson's doctors visit Thanks Colin! Ron has a better attitude than most of us. Don't know how he does it.
As for you Bob, you're giving us Northeasterners a bad name! I happen to live between Philly, NJ, and NYC and I am STILL just as sweet as pecan pie in waaarrrm Ju-ly!

| | Re: Update on Ron Davidson's doctors visit Ron, I can not imagine how that felt, but yes there are people running loose that do such things. You are in my thoughts.
BobD, not a thing wrong with what you said. Maybe a little bit of the Amish way of thinking has rubbed off on you, and maybe you were brought up that way, either way, there is nothing wrong with your thoughts.
Collin, I also understand why you said what your reaction would be, my first reaction would be very similar to yours, right or wrong.
Jillsy, you're too young to have soured yet. Remember, we all know how old you are! |
