What a great thing to do, and a great story to share. I know too many carvers who've had their tools stolen, usually from their cars. Some thief sees a tool box and grabs them, not knowing how useless they are if you're not a carver. Most of us haven't tallied up what we'd have to pay to replace our collections, but one dumb thief can force us to do that. I doubt there are many "fences" for stolen woodcarving tools, so most of those valuable tools get dumped.

Pawn shops are a great fence.

No, I didn't sell stolen goods to them but have retreaved stolen guns from them and reported them to the police.

Yes pawn shops are a great fince. And there are people "a lof of people" that will take anything they can get there hands on and never give it a second though.

And then there are people likeTim and others that does give a true meaning to the word honesty.
