Default Up Date on Tyler's Condition

This is an up date on my Grandson Tyler's condition, the good news his tumors are not malignant, the sad news is that he will go into surgery about the end of August. He will have his colon removed and some polyps they discovered in his stomach also the doctor will build him a new colon from one of his intestines. The delay has been have biopsies and the Mental Health Counselors have been preparing him for surgery.

I'm very sure that Tyler's doctor will be guided by the hand of God as Tyler is an exceptional great fourteen year old that loves all sports but most of all
life and his baby sister. His Grandmother and I have a very special place in our hearts for Tyler. He plans on learning how to carve and mostly work with his hands. I'm going to let out one of Tyler's big secrets. When my wife I went to Rhode Island this last February to be there for the birth of our grand daughter. His parents were giving Tyler money for his school lunch. One day after school Tyler remarked he so hungry he could whole cow by himself. I told Tyler to wait while his Grandmother cooked dinner and I asked what he had for lunch, he slipped up and told me he didn't have lunch and had been skipping lunch for about a week or so. I asked what he had been doing with his lunch money, He said "Tata" please don't tell mom, I have been buying lunch for a little kid that never came to school with a lunch and couldn't buy any cause his paents couldn't afford it. Now Tyler packs an extra lunch for his little friend, this is only one of the many reasons we consider Tyler so kind. God knows this and will be with Tyler all the way through surgery and his long rehabilitation.
God Bless all of you wonderful friends that have kept your prayers going for Tyler.
Oscar

Hi Oscar,
thanks for the update on your grandson.... I've said a prayer for him. Things like this should not happen to children. He sounds like a terrific kid.
