I know that more than a few of you all are interested in what's happenin to Thomp. I talked to him last night, and have been struggling with whether to post what's happenin with him. I told him I'd keep you all informed, so here goes. He's back in the hospital as I posted the other day. They ran a bunch of heart tests yesterday (angiogram, catherization, and stuff). As Thomas said, "cut my leg with an exact-o knife and ran a coat hanger up to my heart". The long and short of it is that Thomas has congestive heart failure. His heart is only at about 20%. He is not a good candidate for any stints, or rotorooter of the heart arteries either. He's already had a quad by-pass years ago. His heart arteries are too thin and his heart to weak. Tests indicate that he has had two heart attacks recently (past several weeks). Doc says he didn't feel them because probably the nerves in and around his heart have been so damaged by diabetes. They have Thomas on some meds that might strengthen his heart, clean out the arteries, etc. Lets hope so! Tom H |

Tom, he has certainly been on my mind and in my prayers. Thanks for giving us the update. I wish there was something we could do. Any idea how long he may be in the hospital? Maybe some of us could at least send a card to help lift his spirits. Tell him along with our best wishes we send hugs.

Hi Tom, thank you for posting the update. While I may not have known him personally, like many others here, he has helped me through his informative posts and pms. He is in my prayers. Gods blessings be with him.
