| | Uncalled for Comments This is a copy of a personal message I received yesterday afternoon. This was sent through to my personal email not through the message board. The sender blocked their email address and name. I will report this to my internet provider monday.
Ron or whatever you want to be called(blind man with knife)Ha! I and many others on the forum are about to become ill listening to your sob story or whatever you are doing here. This forum is about woodcarving at which I am a professional that you will never be but you seem to always bring up some ailement or something. If it is sympathy you want go somewhere else I don't feel this is the place. I also figure that I am a pretty good art critic so what I think of your works is crap. I know a five year old that could do better than you. The only thing yours is good for is firewood. Ashbys idea about the laser is a joke he is taking away the art by using a machine. He acts like he invented the thing. I just thought you would like to know the truth about the people on the forum. Most could care less about you and your troubles.
Well everyone there it is what I consider the biggest load of you know what. The comments don't bother me i just consider the source. I don't like the fact that the individual drug Ash into it all he has tried to do is help me out and be a friend and he has. If someone has a problem with me be an adult and tell me I will be glad to add you to my ignore list. But this person has no backbone and in my book is a coward. I am not going to quit posting my work on this forum if you don't like me or my work don't look. I also do not post my troubles on here for sympathy or whatever you want to call it. I do appreciate the friends that I have made here and try and judge people by their words alone. Thanks to all who support me and I will continue to post and say what and when I want until the powers to be tell me different.

| | Re: Uncalled for Comments Sounds like a kid to me, Ron. I'd guess someone who got a so-so review of one of his projects, and didn't have the maturity to take constructive criticism for what it is, "Constructive". It just sounds like a very juvenile response to some slight. I'm sure the majority of the board, here, consider you and your work inspirational, at the very least, Ron. I know I do!

| | Re: Uncalled for Comments That was highly unprofessional and sounds like a jealous person to me. Prof that that person is not a professional nor an Art Critic.
Hang in there Ron.
Of course there are ways to trace that e-mail back to the Ip address it came from. Your ISP can do that if they will. First course is to report it to them. |

| | Re: Uncalled for Comments I never cease to be amazed. I can't say what I want to so I will say nothing.
Ron, I have never been more inspired by anyones art than by yours. Every pc. of work that you do I show to my wife and we enjoy your work together. Please don't let this type of thing impact you.
I will lift you up in prayer this afternoon thanking God for your influence on our carving community.

DO NOT delete that message from your computer, there's a lot of info. in that message and also behind the message. Your ISP should help you, if you know someone that's into computers invite them over for a cup of whatever. Then get ahold of Fox Publishing and ask them for help. Between the two you should be able to come up with some answers. |

| | Re: Uncalled for Comments Ron, I'm almost speechless thinking that a human being wrote that diatribe.
First, this individual claims to speak for "others" on this forum. Not for this fella and I doubt for anyone else here. You have been and continue to be an inspiration. This person also claims to be a "professional and an art critic"! I doubt that too. Greg is right, we should lift a prayer for you but probably more so for this tortured individual who must be in pure agony not to be able to carve as well as "the blind man with a knife".

| | Re: Uncalled for Comments Ron, I think you are doing the right thing. You had better keep on posting photos as well as comments. I only hope the rest of us are as tee'd off as I am, that there is someone out there (maybe on this board) who would send a message like that. I had better stop now. I hope someone else on this board can better say and explain how I feel. Tom H |

I am very upset that anyone can be that insensitive, please keep on posting, and as far as I am concerned that comment came from a professional
pain. Please ignore that and keep on keeping on.And I do feel that kind of comments don't belong on this site. |

| | Re: Uncalled for Comments When you think about it, one dirtbag on a forum with a couple of thousand people isn't bad, but I hate to think someone this low has signed on here....must make them feel better to say they are speaking for others.....they don't speak for me or many many other good people on this board....hang in there Ron....and if you can find out who this clown is, let the rest of us know....professional, yeh right! This is the same mentality of that lowlife that threw coffee in your face....!
