I just have to add one to this list. We we were bad, my mother would say "wait 'til I get my stick", referring to the stick she kept by her old wringer washer. My mother didn't raise any dummies, so we did not wait until she got that stick; we took off running and sometimes were gone all day, until she cooled off. Mike

Great lists Lynn. I guess all our mothers took the same mothering class - Raising kids 101. My Mom always asked me if I wanted "stick candy" when I acted up.
