 Turkeys plus color equals Fall Just read the thread "beautiful morning" and wanted everyone to know that the same is true here in the "hills". These photos were taken from our front window a little bit ago. We were concerned that the leaves had stayed on so long that we would not have much in the way of color. Still a lot of green out there; but, it looks like the Ozarks are dressing up in the best of finery to ease us into winter.

| Re: Turkeys plus color equals Fall Eddy, it’s kind of interesting that the fall (any sex) hunting season for Wild Turkey ended last Sunday. The black powder (deer) overlapped the turkey season and none of the hunters here on the ranch saw a single bird. Now, four days after the season closes they are wandering around my yard. They probably knew they were safe anyway as I do not allow any hunting around the houses.
