| | True Wood Spirits I was sitting in the deer blind opening day, and wondering how to kill time while waiting. Then just outside the blind I noticed a true wood spirit glancing my way. No need to carve THIS one!

| | Re: True Wood Spirits errrr.....oh, that's "tracking snow"! Didn't need to track my buck, though, he dropped right where I hit him. First kill since 1975; that adds up to a lot of unsuccesfull hunts.

| | Re: True Wood Spirits Neat picture. You don't always have a chance to catch a "real" wood spirit with a camera. |

| | Re: True Wood Spirits Ya know, Dave, mebbee yer right.....hadda have a gun. Hmmmm. Well a few years back I bagged a "rock ape" out the back. durn hard chewin' though.
Back when I was working, my partner and I came across an 8 foot long rabbit alongside the road, but all we had were guns and no camera. Being as we didn't want to kill that one, all you have to do is take my word for it, though.
There really are spirits inthe wood (s)!

| | Re: True Wood Spirits Seems to me, Al, that an 8' rabbit would take quite a bit of skinning. And I bet you guys were out there without a strop, hmmmmm?
Congrats on freeing the deer spirit and ending your dry spell.
