Default Time for fun

Well my load to Washington got cancled and i'm sitting here going stir crazy so a friend of mine come to my rescue. Wolfprince works for the local parks department and is alwasy picking up limbs and whatnots, him and his mother sent me over some limbs to play with. The most unusaul being, from his mother, true "harry lauder walking stick", it's the very twisted peice wolfprince is holding.
They sent me some olive wood too, though i've never tryed it i can't wait to get my knife on it.
Oh and the last pic is to make carvers drool, my drying stack of silver maple limbs...lol!
See you in the forum.

Default Re: Time for fun

I've made several spoons (for cooking) out of olive. Very heavy and hard wood, but beautiful when it's finished.
