Today is my 10th anniversary as a member of the WCI message board. A lot of information, a lot of fellowship, a lot of good memories! Mike

Boy it does. I go back at least 10 years and it seems to me even longer. Ed Sharoder( sp ) was editor and I think the headquarters was in Smoketown Pa. I was supposed to do a Santa carving seminar for them and it was cancelled due to some internal problems. If I recall someone even got fired. I dropped out after that for a while and Nancy Goff got me to rejoin. WCI has come a long way since then.

Yeah Goody, we could have had a reunion in a phone booth 10 years ago. It's been more than 5 years since the WCI Open House. You're right, this message board has come a long way from its humble beginnings. It's really gratifying to see so many folks interested in wood carving. Anything we can do to build interest in our craft and art is good for everyone. Mike

And oh how things have changed in those 10 years. Who would have ever thought it? I loved it then and even more now! I lost my join date when one of the updates happened. Happy anniversary.
