Default Thanks, Rick!

Yippee! Yahoo! Wheeeeee!

My V gouge came in from Rick-in-Seattle. 3 - count'em - 3 layers of protection PLUS a thick, heavy plug of rubbery stuff to protect the cutting edge. AND so sharp I could - literally - shave with it.

And now I don't want to let go of it! I'm using it for everything, including sharpening pencils and cutting up my steak.

Well, maybe not those 2, but you get my drift.

Now I'm kicking myself for not getting a small U gouge at the same time, but then, Father's Day is just around the corner, isn't it?

THANKS RICK! Woo-hoo!

Cheers

dont mean to brag or rub it in ,
made my order on friday on phone, shipped on monday recieved on wed..

i got my optma1 pyrographic station, 4 basswood apples 2 new thumb guards, "im all thumbs" and two of the smallest sharpest v gouges i ever seen.. 2 and 2.5mm
am pleased with everything i got especally the gouges, so sharp its a pleasure to carve with them but knowing they will eventualy i keep them in reserve cuz i know ill never be able to maintain this kind of edege. they will be for eye lashes and fine hairs in the whiskers,,, or work on and around eyes

Oh, stop rubbing it in Thomp! Just 'cause you and Rick live on the same side of the border. :P

I'm just delighted to find an American supplier who is willing to deal with a crazy Canuck AND follows through with what he promises.

It turns out this is just the tool I've been looking for to go ahead on a couple of projects. I'll post a pic or 2 soon, so have patience Mr. Squbrigg.
