Oh man! I hate the thought of anybody going blind, especially since my brother is now blind in both eyes.

But even stone blind, with your talent, I'm sure you can figure something out, maybe to do with clay (if that isn't a dirty word)

Ron, sorry for the bad news. I really had my hopes up for you. It's been said before but, you are one amazing guy. Most people receiving such news would say "why me Lord" or fall into self pity. You display none of that. What's more, you set up new goals for yourself! You cause me to constantly put things into perspective and to be thankful for all the blessings I have received. You have gifts that go beyond being an outstanding carver!

Chuck

Whitecree did you say clay? What's that? I'll stick to carving wood. Takes me longer but still fun.

and besides...you get to wield a knife with wood LOL..but in England they are talking about outlawing knives because they are dangerous weapons, so you better start practicing with popsicle sticks Ron....but...if you carve fast like I do, you will rub those popsicles sticks so fast they get hot and create combustion, then you go to jail for being a pyromaniac, not to be confused with our pyromani....errr pyrographers here on this site!... geez, you just can't win
