| | Susan an update Susan,
So you know I have not forgotten you, that special piece you sent to me has become a special project for me.
I was not happy with the outcome , so being me , I decided I could do it better. When you see it I think you will be stunned at the difference with what I have done.
That said I am still working out some issues that have not met my standard and I have had to change some of the pattern to bring out some of the depth. Anyway I hope to finsh up another sample run tommorrow and I have to thank you for this again.
I am not sure I would have ever had the chance to do this without this pattern and the learning curve right now is striaght up. Thanks !

I need some information. First do you want the background cut out ? If So just let me know. Second the pick was a bit distorted when you sent it , what date was the copyright ?
I am close to getting everything where I want it.
Here is the test sample I ran today , the back vase is still being a bit of a pain . The one on the right , the pot looks pretty good.
Anyway . here is the sample pic.
Oh and so you know this is a 5 x 5 inch piece of red ceader. the Large one will be in a good bit better wood. =)

I feel like I might be butting into a private conversation here, but how are you doing that? It is coming into shape in a different way and appears to be burned or something? What's up with that?

| | Re: Susan an update Thor,
not a private conversation, just I have been really busy and missing my time to call Susan,
this is just a fast way to give information to her for I know she usally stops here at least once a day if she has time.
This piece would be a long way from being finished , but because of the time involved , a small pattern like this allows me to see , what needs to be changed to get the finished piece right.
It is nothing more than just series of processes to produce carvings though controlled wood burns. I think that is the best way to explain it.

| | Re: Susan an update Garry, That's perfect just the way it is!!!!!!! I believe the copyright was around 2000 or 2001. You don't need to do anything else ... fantastic.

| | Re: Susan an update Thor, Garry is working with a new lazer engraving machine which burns the layers of wood away. He is burning a drawing of mine that I requested.

| | Re: Susan an update Susan ,
I am at last happy with the pattern work. This is the last pattern burn , tomorrow , I will be putting it into the finial wood, unless I see something else I missed.
Anyway ,
If you agree to this one It is what the finished picece will be like except there will be no burn marks =)
