| | Sue - Annas next Canvas This is the canvas that Anna is going to paint Using patterns form Sue Irish's The Great Book Of Dragons and the Great Book of Celtic Patterns. Once I test ride it and get all the mechanical adjustments made, all the tin and fiberglass gets stripped off and she can't wait to start painting it. She needs a break from Santas and Gourds.

| | Re: Sue - Annas next Canvas Most of the Fox Chapel books are used for reference for woodcarving and burning and scrollsawing. When I first got my copy of the Great Book of Dragons and bought the Dragon package from Carvingpatterns.com I had this rolling around in the back of mind. When I asked Anna if she thought she could piant a dragon she asked for a picture and I gave her Sue's book and a metal plate that I painted the base color. A couple hours later she came down from her paint room with the sample. About that time Fox Chapel released the Great Book of Celtic Patterns. This nailed it. It was almost like Sue wrote the book for us. We have a large canvas and that book will fill it. Instead of pinstriping we are going to do celtic knotwork accents arond the trike.
But the thing that has me most excited it is a project that we are doing together and we are both seeing the destination.
If you guys think you can't wait to see the paint job I'm like a kid waiting for Santa and Easter BUnny at the same time!
