Default Stamp cabineit for the wife.

My wife, as you can see, is into crafting. Making cards and stamping. I am not a real good cabinet guy but I made this stamp cabinet for her. When closed it will be 4” thick 24” wide and 48” long. The selves are a ¼” X 1 1/2 x 22 1/4 “. The shelves are 1/4” lower in the back to help hold the stamps in place. I still have to do the finish and hinge. Everything is dry fitted right now. Then hang it. I did make a few points with this one.

Randy:

My wife is into the same thing with stamps galore all over the den area (she took over)....lol! Good idea on the cabinet. We've talked about getting her stamps organized and your cabvinet might be the solution. The only problem is I'd have to make about 6 of them to accomodate all her stamps!!!

And I thoughrt I had a lot of stuff with my carving tools out in the garge....er rather Man Cave!

If it looks like a cabinet and works like a cabinet, you MUST be a cabinet guy. Nice idea, nice execution. I am a cabinet guy, and it looks to me like you did a good job. Enjoy your points!

Bob,
It will hold around 200 stamps, give or take depending on sizes. It is now full and some still in containers.
