Just a note to report that I completed my first display/show of the year, at a new center that opened here in out little community of Miramichi, NB. The French Fort Cove Eco Center started their first season of displays on April 9 running to the 20, of a display entitled "Wooden Ships, Iron Men", offering for viewing the work of yours-truly. I was very flattered to be the opening display, and they did a marvelous job of advertizing the event and were most kind and encouraging in their remarks.
I was able to attend most days for a couple of hours, though it took it's toll, and I enjoyed the experience very much. My wife Mary Ellen attended with me and she found the experience stimulating as well. She is quite a cheerleader and supporter, and good looking too!!! Though I couldn't get her to wear an outfit and pom-poms!!! (grin) LOL
The display was well attended and cover by the local newspaper, front page stuff no less. (must have been a slow news week) I've attached a few pics of the set up for your viewing pleasure, they did a super job of displaying the items, and they arranged for all of the task of transporting the works too and from my home to the center. My appreaction and thanks to Janet and Bill Williams for a job well done, Jan is the marketing coordinator of the center and you can see the Cove's web site at
