Default Spring Fever!!

Ok everyone I know things have been tense and it's been a long winter. I know that everyone I talk to is tired of snow ice and the rest of the mess brought on by the winter. I think it's safe to say it has been a unusual winter to say the least. I myself am tired of being cooped up because of ice and snow. So my question is what is on your list of things to do when spring finally arrives.
1 Run around the yard naked yelling it's spring!!
2 Open all the windows in the house and air it out.
3 Sit on the patio and drink my morning coffee.
4 Finally I muight even clean my shop
5 Almost forgot start walking again and burn off some winter fat.

What is on your list?

Hey Ron and Kenny,
Did you enjoy the warm-up day today as much as I did??? For the first time in over a month, I can see the mud in the driveway--the ice has finally melted. Now if we can just stay warm long enough to melt the piles of snow that are on every parking lot and street corner!

YOur list sounds intriguing...but I think I'll settle for going to work tomorrow without long underwear, winter coat, boots, cap, and mittens. Now that's freedom!!

Now if all our friends to the north and east can thaw a bit, too.

SPRING!!!........that's too far away to even contemplate! We might get a warm day above freezing by April and the snow might be gone by May or at least the end of May. I sure ain't going to do no streaking just yet! BURRRRRRRRR.....gives me cold shivers just considering it!!!

Jeez...."Stoke up the wood stove ma!!!"

SPRING FEVER?????

We're still in the midst of CABIN FEVER!!!

Another 3 months and MAYBE, I'll think about running around in shorts and a T shirt. The other option is a little too scary to contemplate!

Well Ron, we haven't had much in the way of snow but cold and rain has been plentiful. Heres my list:

1. Open all the windows in the house and air it out.
2. Drink my coffee on the patio (patio? What patio? okay, back steps)
3. Construct a low decorative fence dividing the back yard into two areas. People and goose areas.
4. Re-seed the lawn in the back where it has been over-grazed by the two geese.
5. Fence down the one side and two ends of the backyard using dog-eared fencing.
6. Plant some flowers and rose bushes.
7. Plant a veggy garden.
8. Plant some roses and flowers in the front yard.
9. Shampoo carpets.
10. Carve

Wish I could find something to do!!!

Well before long you will be quoting the old poem:

"Spring has sprung
Fall has fell
Summer is here
and its hotter than ...errr....usual"

I am with Bob....Spring? when, not yet. But it was 11 degrees this morning, and is supposed to get up to 40s today. We have about 10 inches of snow and ice on the roof. The gutters and downspouts are all frozen. We just hope that the thawed snow and ice goes where it is supposed to go. My main spring activity will be to drive to Southern Cal. and visit kids and grand kids. Hopefully after the snows are over...Planning to leave the first week in April. May do some carving along the way. Tom H

I am just south of AlArchie. High today 30. Just yesterday some "geniuses" decided to check out the water in the bay of Green Bay near the mouth of the Menominee river.Swimming that is, not in the water very long. Just north of that they were holding some big ice boat races, I guess it was colder there.
