I remember that weekend very well Susan. I also recall standing with you behind Colin and you describing what he was doing and his movements. The article put it into words that everyone can enjoy I am just glad I was there to experience the real thing. Colin & Susan my friends they always said to learn from the best and I did that weekend in several ways. You teaching me how to do a tree spirit and Susan teaching me to have more confidence in myself. And Garry and his family for showing me what true hospitality is. Can't wait until we can get together again.
Ron

Susan ,

I am so glad you posted this. It is an incredable article. So often we are so amazed at the talent of our friends we often miss how much they put into their work. It is easy to see why Colin gets so much life into his carvings, by looking through your eyes.

If this was turned down for an article, it really makes me wonder how many things are turned down, that we would love to see and read.

I can only say I am very proud to call you all my friends.

Garry

Great article, Susan!
You continue to do so much to help carvers of all capabilities. Good article, good pictures, good people. Your ability to see the poetry comes from your keen eye and kind heart, as well as your multi-talents.

Thanks for sharing your insights on our friend Colin.
