| | Somebody,pinch me Hi folks;
Just have to pass along an amazing bit of luck that happened to me on the weekend.
A friend asked me to give him a hand moving a bunch of wood,using my truck.When a friend asks for help,of course you can,t say no.
Long story short,for my assistance,he gave me a truckload of free wood.There is redoak,white oak,maple,ash,pine ,abit of walnut,some red cedar,yellow cedar, mahogany.Alot of the wood is 3x3x12.There are also alot of 1x5x8 planks.I thought I had lots of room in my shop for this{NOT}.So,as you can probably imagine,I,m in woodworkers heaven.Sometimes it really pays to have good friends.
Well,thats about it.I just thought I,d pass on this info.Not braggin,just feel extremely fortunate.

| | Re: Somebody,pinch me And here I was all set to brag about the load of Alder I fetched in for myself - pic on the left. I could have had some cottonwood as well - right pic - but do you know how hard that stuff is to roll uphill when it is green? |
