Talking Some recent works from the lathe

I have been busy with the old computer going kaput, getting this new Mac set up, many snowplowing jobs, and finishing up an article I have wrote for WCI. So now I have found the time to post some pictures of what I have gotten done recently.

First set is Salt Mill Pepper Mill 6" butternut, second is a 7" pepper mill curly maple, third claro walnut set salt mill and pepper mill 6", fourth 3 1/2" pepper mill curly maple, and fifth picture is another 3 1/2" curly maple this one is not put together yet.

Carl;.. you are a VERY talented guy; that is some great lathe work. I especially like the curley maple and appreciate the difficulty in getting those finishes that you do on your work ; having worked with curley maple a bit myself.Thumbs Up

Thanks Sharon, Keoma, Wayne and Micheal the knife is still under construction I have three coats of spar urethane on it so far and thinking it will take five total. I had seven other 3/4" basting brushes black walnut, curly maple, and cherry. A few of each wood but they all sold before Christmas, I was making them to try and sell on Etsy, I guess I will just have to make more now.

And here I was going to ask you where you were selling your basting brushes.

Beautiful items you have there! I'd love to see your etsy store.

Marcia.
