Default Snow Storm (Kenny S.)?

Kenny did you get buried by the unforcasted snow storm Mon & Tues. I hear that some places down your way got up too 15inches. hope you made out OK.
I know this don't sound like much to some but here in Kansas it all piles up on the roads because there are not enough trees between here and canada to stop the wind.
Ron

Thank you for asking Ron. About 6 inchs here, I guess between us there was 10 inchs of snow. Some friends ibetween Udall and Dopuglas had 10 inchs and still was snowing. Odd thing, the highways were clear and as soon as it quit snowing, the sun cam out and turned out to be a fairly nice day. The 15 inchs were closer to the MoKan border. Only problem I saw was this morning with Ice and that was gone as soon as the sun came out.
The Grand kids had fun building snowmen and snow angels. Well, I did too!
Hope you faired well also.

Really dont know whats happening with the weather. Today here in the great white north it is balmy most of the snow has disappeared there is green grass everywhere. Usually at this time of year we are 20 to 30 below zero and tons of snow. Funny thing about weather I have heard of the January thaw but this is ridiculous I am sure mother nature isnt finished with us yet, but is sure feels like spring here.

Know what you mean, Had snow that we did not expect, then turned 70 degrees yesterday, Grandkids where over and played outside, we set outside also. Today, wind blowing about 40 degrees but with the 20 MPH wind, feels colder. Yesterday, I remarked to my wife, it was a nice Apirl day in Januaray.

Best Regards

Colin,
I live in south Texas and we usually see some grass this time of year, although we are experiencing a drought which is unusual. When is the last time your part of the country had weather you are having now?

Don, in the great white north here. Just in case anyone has been worried about vipertooth I can guarentee that this past week his ice roads have stayed frozen solid. Its been -15 to -22 celcius around here lately. I haven't seen him , hope he is having fun chasing logs. Don
