Russ,
Yes I have had a problem. I don't have McAffee as antivirus but I do use their free "Site Advisor" program and its great. I have had it for months and never had a problem until a couple of weeks ago when it wouldn't let me enter this site. It said that the site was trying to collect my personal info. They must have made some changes to the McAffee settings recently or.....this site does have a malicious hacker who is using it for his own purpose. Not likely, but not impossible. I just use the over ride on the program and come in here anyhow. I did have it set to not warn on this site but last night it did it again..... I have reset the "do not warn on this site" setting and we will go from there.

Not only has McAffee blocked several of my forums it also blocked my network connection to Mike's computer! We run Network Magic for our network set up and out of no where McAffee deleted Mike's Micron from my folders saying his computer was deemed unsafe because .... Wait for it! ..... His system didn't have McAffee's installed as his main systems program ... Mike's Micron runs Norton ... AHHH! ... so therefore they couldn't let me decide whether my hubbies computer was OK to talk with or not.

It took Mike several hours and jumping through a few hoops before he figured out how to go around McAffee.

I finally got my site advisor to stick to it's command to allow this place, after it kept deciding on it's own to block. Or maybe my dog is going in later and changing things around. I just tried avast as a free (always) download from PC WORLD, it seems to work ok. Only prob. is it darn near put my comp into a perm. sleep, and now I can't get online unless I turn it off. I don't think I'll keep it.

That is odd because IE7, Norton and Firefox's phishing software are not flagging it. I will research with McaFee and get back to you.

When I got my Dell 2 years ago I dumped McAffee and went to Norton and have since gone to Micro-PC Cillin. It was like a breath of fresh air when I finally rid myself of McAffee... just one problem after another.
