Bob,
My condolences on your loss.

I received my copy yesterday and have a new found appreciation for your style of carving. Great job and one great article!

Thank you for your many messages of support and sympathy. The death of a parent is a situation we all must face in our lifetime, and we are never prepared for it. We learn the sun will still rise the following day and each day thereafter, and see their smile in it's rays.

I am glad to hear that you are enjoying the article, the mule hasn't made it this far yet! Makenchips....yes to both questions. I was a sailor, as was my father. My great grandfather and his father were not only ships masters, but they built sailing ships too, the full sized ones, in a small shipyard in New London Bay, on Prince Edward Island's North shore.

First, my sincere condolences for your family's loss. I will keep you in my thoughts.

I just received my WCI yesterday, and the article and cover were very informative and well done. Congratulations of that huge accomplishment.

Thank you Thor. All of my friends here on the board, have been very thoughtful and supportive. Their efforts certainly help get through the rough spots.

Glad you like the article, it was fun doing it. It makes you think about how and why you do things, I've been doing half models so long, I just don't even think about the process. There are so many beautiful ships out there left to be done!!
