Default Shake, rattle and roll!

Just had a 6.5 earthquake at 4:27. Epicenter was a couple hours north of here! Just got through using my scrollsaw out on the front porch and was cleaning up when it hit. Big jolt, then the porch shook real good, slowed down and shook some more! My husband was in the potty and thought I was jumping around like I sometimes do. Earlier I brought some nic nacs from the storage container over to the house, glad I didn't hang any of my plates on the wall! Anyway it was fun and exciting, like going to Disney land without leaving home and it was free, so can't complain about that. And everything appears to be okay! Hey Keoma, did you feel it over there?

Sure glad you and your house are OK.... can't wait to hear from Keoma.

I spent so many years in CA ... VAFB in northern Santa Barbara County. How I hated that ... the shaking. I never knew if it was a quake or missile launch.

Earthquakes are fun and exciting! Like going to Disneyland! Oh, you are from California, and I suppose you have to say that. My daughter lives in Southern Cal. she thinks the same way. I just tell her it's her way of copeing

I get it Sharon - another CA native here. The USGS says it was offshore NNW of Ferndale. Though I'm down south, but I've got family in the Honeydew/Garberville area. Lovely country.

I talked with Squarebriggs this morning and they were warmer in NB Canada than we were here in the Ozarks. Then I read about devastation of the aquarium fish industry in Southern Florida. Now, the earthquake. Momma Nature is getting quite cranky and, as my cousin says, "She needs a hormone shot!"

Glad everything is OK and you got a fun ride out of it. Hopefully this relieved the cramps and Momma Nature will settle down for a while.
