Unhappy Scratch and Dent title sale?

Greetings All,
I got an email today about some books that were on sale as a scratch and dent sale. I clicked on the link and it went to the page where I picked out several books. Then I put my information in....along with my credit card number....and I got a page with a bunch of technical stuff on it. I tried to call the number listed at the bottom of one of the pages, and being an early Friday afternoon....no one was able to take my call. Hummmmm. I'm really hoping that I didn't get ripped off. Did anyone else get that same emal today? I never got a confirmation on my order through the email.

Yes, see the post from Bob D of WCI. It is for real, I ordered several books without issue. PM Bob D and he will straighten it out for you I am sure.

All right everyone! Thank you for your help. I went back and reordered the books I wanted, and felt blessed that they weren't all sold out! I'll be a happy carver in no time. Thank you thank you thank you!

I, too, ordered some books, but one was sold out when I first made my selections, and another sold out before I could get the information in for the order! I'll take scratch n dent because they'll look that way in a few weeks anyway.

I picked up two

Parables: Wood Sculptures
was 34.95 for 3.99

Art of Stylized Wood Carvings for 2.99 was 19.95

The last book I ordered from the scratch and dent sale was in perfect shape, maybe a bent corner...on a page somewhere

Tony - I bought Parables: Wood Sculptures when it was brand new and paid the full price. I have no regrets. If something ever happened to my copy, if necessary, I'd be happy to pay the full price again. IMHO that's one of the most beautiful books ever printed.
Congratulations to you on getting a copy.
