There is an unbelievable video about an invention to stop a spinning table saw from cutting your finger. You have to see this video to believe it. Check it out. YouTube - SAWSTOP in TimeWarp Last edited by sitesby; 06-29-2009 at 04:09 PM. Reason: Type error |

Notice he didn't use his index finger, though...he used his middle finger. He wasn't going to risk the most-used finger! Bob |

I think his giving the saw the "finger" in this case was justified. Neat....I want one on my saw!

Ihave a friend that is a blind woodworker and has one and loves it. The first time I stuck my finger in there I was scared to death that it would be the only time it wouldn't work but it did. Ron & Retired Lou

LOL I agree Al, most used finger around here too ha ha ..especially in traffic! ![]() I have seen these before, would love to have it on my tablesaw, but they aren't cheap, and when its jammed, you have to pay a good price for another part, blade etc.....cheaper than a finger tho...

The problem is that this isn't available as an upgrade. You need to buy a whole new table saw. And I bet it ain't cheap!! The World’s Leading maker of safe 10-inch Table Saws – SawStop |
