Square Foot Gardening!
Haven't heard of that for for yrs. I used to watch the show on public service tv and practiced the method for many moons. Lost the book about ten yrs ago.

Mel put out a revised version of the book last year but it had little new in it, really. The original version is still the best version, IMHO.

Search engine for the SFG Official Web Site and it will bring you up to date.

I've been doing it for years. Each year I expand with one of two new boxes.
Next season I think I am going to put in a box full of strawberries for the wife.

All the best,

RussL.

I had to do some digging to show you a picture of my garden last May. There are 20 wooden beds in here, all the fence lines have raised beds along them, and the back half of the garden is for corn, watermelons, squash, and potatoes.

We just put those corn bin panels up and I planted pole beans, peas, cherry tomatoes and muskmelon on them. Now that the year is done I've been impressed with planting on those panels. It sure made picking pole beans easier.

Up by the house I have 7 4 x 10 wooden beds, six are for strawberries and one is for asparagus. I will be cleaning out one more bed of strawberries and planting another box full of asparagus.

I've been known to can up 400 jars of produce out of my gardens. Two large freezers are usually full by the end of the season.

Eddie, great little garden. The square ft garden is fun, tried it a couple times, and had lots of fun working with it. Marci, that looks like a good place to be. The chair for watching it grow, grin. Food for the soul.
